Haiti extends the state of emergency in Port-au-Prince for a month due to the escalation of violence

A decree published in a special issue of Haiti’s official newspaper, ‘Le Moniteur’, and signed by the Council of Ministers, states “the order establishing the emergency state on security matters throughout the Western department for a period of one month.”
