They assassinate a candidate from the ruling party in Mexico who was trying to be mayor in Guerrero

An unknown assailant shot and killed candidate Tomás Morales Patrón, of the ruling National Regeneration Movement (Brunette), who intended to be mayor of Chilapain the south of the state of Warriorbringing the total to more than 20 candidates murdered in the current electoral process in Mexico.
