Mississippi Police Officer Sentenced to 40 Years for Group Torture of Two Black Men

The group of police officers entered the home where the victims were staying without a warrant after a person called police to alert them that two African-American men were staying at a white woman’s home.

The incident came to light after victims filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the group of agents in the summer of last year.
