Ukrainian military intelligence says attack on Moscow is Kremlin “operation”

Ukrainian military intelligence (GUR) attributed the massacre this friday in a shopping center on the outskirts of Moscow to an “operation planned by the Kremlin special services” with the aim of “discrediting Ukraine and the entire free world”.

Clear, “We are talking about a special operation by the Kremlin’s secret services against its own citizens.”, said the GUR spokesperson, Andri Yusov, quoted by Ukrainian news agency Unián.

In a message published on its social networks, the GUR assured that the attack is yet another “pretext” to intensify Russian military aggression against Ukraine and to justify a new military mobilization within Russia.

According to GUR, the fact that a group of people with assault rifles could move “freely” around Moscow would prove, “along with other irrefutable evidence”, that the massacre was organized by Russian espionage.

Previously, Ukrainian authorities claimed to have “nothing to do” with this event.
