The US sells equipment to Ukraine to improve its anti-aircraft defense

U.S agreed to sell to Ukraine urgent military equipment to repair and upgrade its HAWK missile systems, worth $138 million, while a $60 billion mega-aid package remains blocked in Congress.

“Ukraine has an urgent need to increase its defense capability against Russian missile attacks and the air capability of Russian forces“, indicated the Cooperation Agency in Defense and American Security in a statement.
