Faced with escalating tensions with Iran, Israel is taking precautions. The IDF announced in a message posted on social media on Saturday that Israeli schools would close across the country for security reasons. “In green areas, gatherings will be limited to 1,000 people,” the military added in its press release.
These measures come into effect from 23:00 (local time) this Saturday, with Sunday being the first day of the week in Israel.
