Defense of Europe: thank you, Donald!

A Europe that “ensures its security,” “alone if necessary,” including in cyberspace. Two years after Russia’s attack on Ukraine, Emmanuel Macron made this call for a “reliable defense of the European continent” a key element of his new speech at the Sorbonne on Thursday.

However, this issue remains one of the most difficult for European states to reach agreement on. The European Defense Community project failed seventy years ago!
