Argentine deputies granted the delegation of legislative powers to the Executive for a year, after having declared at the beginning of the text presented for debate this Tuesday a situation of public emergency in administrative, economic, financial and energy matters.

This chapter was one of those that generated the most controversy last February, during the first parliamentary processing of this bill, since the original text proposed two years – extendable to four – of public emergency in 11 questions, which was clearly cut in this new version.

Another sensitive chapter approved was the chapter on “registered employment promotion”, which grants tax incentives to employers who regularize workers who do not have a registration.

In another moment of strong debate in the room, they also approved the privatization of public companiesthe administrative reorganization of the state and the consequent management of public employment within the scope of the stability regime.

Furthermore, the chapter “force majeure in current contracts and transactional agreements” allows the Executive to renegotiate public works contracts and public service concessions.
