Trump defends that each state can legislate on abortion after the restriction in Florida

The former president of U.S and Republican candidate, donald trumpdefended this Wednesday that each state in the country has the freedom to legislate on the abortionafter the entry into force of the law prohibiting Florida termination of pregnancy after six weeks.

The New York mogul held a campaign rally in free landin the key state of Michiganwhere he publicly congratulated the judges of the Supreme Court which struck down federal abortion protections in 2022 and opened the door for conservative states to restrict the practice.

“Now the states can decide; This is what everyone wanted 50 years ago and we got it“, said the Republican, who during his term appointed three of the nine judges of the Superior Court.

Trump admitted that there will be dissatisfied people because in some states there will be “more progressive laws”Which the Conservatives would like, but insisted this is the best option.
