Venezuela: Prosecutor requests arrest and extradition order for Leopoldo López and Julio Borges

Regarding the case of Julio BorgesSaab issued an arrest warrant in 2023 and charged him with treason, conspiracy and association for his alleged participation in an attempted military uprising in April 2019, although he already had two previous arrest warrants for his “direct participation in the theft of the republic’s gold deposited in England” and for planning and financing the assassination attempt against President Maduro in August 2018.
