Egypt condemns Israeli control of the Gaza side of Rafah and calls it a dangerous escalation

The Egyptian Government condemned this Tuesday “in the strongest terms” the Israeli control of the Palestinian border crossing Rafathe only one that was not controlled by Israel and that borders Egyptand considered it a “dangerous climb”.

This statement comes a few hours after the Israeli army confirm having taken control of the Gaza side of the crossing Rafa with tanks, after a night of intense shelling against the east of this southern city.
