Hezbollah explained in a statement that a barrage of projectiles targeted the Khirbet Maar base this afternoon, as well as artillery bunkers located on Israeli forces’ military installations.

“Approximately an hour and a half after attacking the Khirbet Maar base, while enemy soldiers were gathered at the base to assess the damage, Islamic Resistance fighters again attacked the site for a second time with dozens of ‘Katyusha’ rockets,” it added. . in a later note.

Previously, Hezbollah had already claimed two major actions, both in response to the bombing by an Israeli drone that occurred this Friday against a team of technicians carrying out maintenance work in the village of Tair Harfa, in southern Lebanon.

The attack caused at least two deaths, one of them a paramedic from the Association of Explorers of the Islamic Message, linked to the Lebanese Shiite group Amal, whose armed wing is participating in the battle against Israel.

The attacks with which Hezbollah responded to the Tair Harfa incident were another volley of rockets against a city in northern Israel and a projectile attack against a barracks.

The Lebanese group also took responsibility for three other attacks against military posts, making a total of seven actions so far this Friday.

The parties have been trapped for seven months in the worst crossfire since the conflict that broke out in 2006, an outbreak of violence that unfolded within the framework of the Gaza war and which triggered the fears that Lebanon converted to on a second front of the same.
