As is customary practice, an advance copy will be provided to Board members on that date and the report will be officially published on June 18. Subsequently, it will be discussed by members of the security advice in an open debate scheduled for June 26th.

Dujarric He emphasized that preparing the list is “an initiative”commissioned annually by members of the Security Council after a common methodology”.

They have already appeared on this list Russia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Burma, Somalia, Yemen and Syria, as well as extremist organizations such as Islamic State, Al Qaeda and Boko Haram.

The Israeli ambassador to UN, Gilad Erdanreacted angrily with a post on X where he could be seen receiving the notification and stating that “now Hamas will continue to use even more schools and hospitals”to attack the Jewish State and that it“will prolong war and suffering”.

Our Army is the most exemplary in the world, the person on the ‘black list’ is the secretary general (António Guterres), which promotes terrorism and hatred of Israel. The secretary general should be ashamed of himself!”reads the text that accompanies the post.

Dujarric, who did not specify whether the Palestinian Islamic organization Hamas will also be on the list, he spoke about the abrupt reaction of Erdan in “surprising and unacceptable”.

“It was a courtesy call to the countries that appear for the first time in the report’s annex. (…) Frankly, (the reaction of Erdan) is something I have never seen in my 24 years serving in this organization“, said the spokesperson.

For his part, the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahuissued a brief statement on the matter, referring to the UN decision as “delusional.”

O UN joined the black list of history by joining those who support the murderers of Hamas. The Israel Defense Forces are the most moral Army in the world; no delusional decision by the UN will change that” he declared Netanyahu.

The annual report of the General secretary previously included chapters on the conflict Palestinian-Israeli, in which the Hebrew State was accused of serious violations of children’s rights.
