At least 25 dead and 50 injured in Israeli attack on Gaza stores

At least 25 Gazans died this Friday and 50 were injured in a Israeli bombing against displaced people’s tents in northwest Rafah, while in other parts of the enclave, another 19 people died in the final hours of the war in Gaza, according to medical and local sources.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, those killed in the camp Al Mawasisupposed safe zone for displaced people, rose to 25, shortly after the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS) would have announced in a statement that it has already transferred 18 bodies.

The Israeli Army, after a preliminary investigation, stated in a statement that it had no evidence of having attacked this humanitarian zone of Rafah and assured that it was investigating the incident.

To these deaths we must add two more in the north of the city of Rafah, in the neighborhood of Khirbet al Adas, according to Palestinian sources; as well as five others killed in the bombing of two houses in the northern city of Gaza, although there may be more bodies in the rubble, according to the Palestinian agency Wafa.

“Israeli warplanes attacked the apartments of the Mushtaha and Abu al Atta families, located behind the Catholic convent in Gaza City,” the agency detailed.

Also in Gaza City, Israeli fighters bombed a residence in Beach Camp, west of the city, killing at least 10 citizens, and another 17 injured people taken to the hospital. In the Zeitun neighborhood, to the southeast, two other Gazans lost their lives today in attacks.

Since the war in Gaza began eight and a half months ago, more than 37,460 Gazans have died, most of them women and children, and around 85,600 have been injured, according to Health.
