According to the Secretariat for Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection, the events occurred inside a restaurant located on Av Coyoacán and Ángel Urraza, in the Del Valle Centro neighborhood.

Gas leak caused the fire

The local agency pointed out that a gas leak which caused the gas tank with a capacity of 30 kilos to go up in flames.

He added that in coordination with the Capital firefighters the flames were controlled. As a preventive measure, 60 people were evacuated.
