New York: Policemen without a mask expel a passenger who reprimanded them for their lack of care with the coronavirus | VIDEO

Two police officers from New York, who did not wear masks, were caught violently expelling a person from the train station who reprimanded them for their lack of care with the coronavirus. The images have caused outrage and even Mayor Bill de Blasio called the case “unacceptable.”

The incident occurred at the Greenwich Village 8th Street station at 8:50 am Tuesday. At the time, Andy Gilbert was on his way to work and had just got off the train when he saw the authorities without a mask and walked towards them.

The officers pretended not to listen to Gilbert, who managed to ask several times for conscience for the coronavirus.

However, one of the officers violently pushed the man towards the emergency exit in response. “If you’re not going to ride the train, you can go,” they said, according to Gilbert.

“I was worried about that video. I did not like what I saw. I didn’t see everything except the clip of the person being pulled out, but I saw that the officers were not wearing their masks on the subway. That is obvious, it is unacceptable. We have given this instruction a thousand times and if you are going to be in the forces of order, you have to participate in the fulfillment of the law, ”De Blasio sentenced.

Following the video’s circulation on social media, New York Police Commissioner Dermot Shea called the officers’ actions “absolutely inexcusable,” but added that they will not be fired or suspended.

“There is no excuse for what I saw in that video. We are better than that, ”Shea said.
