Alec Baldwin testifies for the first time after accidentally killing a woman during filming

The actor Alec Baldwin was first spoken after being involved in a tragic accident on the set of “Rust” that resulted in the death of the film’s director of photography, Halyna Hutchins, and injury to the film’s director, Joel Souza.

The incident occurred on October 21 and was caused when a supposedly prop pistol fired by the actor fatally wounded Hutchins.

There are no words to convey my horror and sadness at the tragic accident that has claimed the lives of Halyna Hutchins, wife, mother and our admired colleague”Wrote Baldwin in their social networks. “I am fully cooperating with the police investigation to find out how this tragedy occurred and I am in contact with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, her son and everyone who knew and loved Halyna.”

The accident occurred during the filming of the western “Rust” in the town of Santa Fe, New Mexico, where the sheriff’s office opened an investigation to clarify what happened. Baldwin was questioned by investigators on October 21, but no charges have been filed against the actor so far.

Meanwhile, Director Souza was released from the hospital where he was staying.
