They marry 10,000 guests despite the coronavirus crisis

In Malaysia, a country not spared by the global coronavirus pandemic, marriages of more than 20 people are not allowed. However, Sunday, December 20, a couple managed to organize a vast ceremony to celebrate their union.

It was in fact the marriage of the son of Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, a Malaysian politician several times minister, and today accused of corruption by the justice of his country. Some 10,000 guests were present. They were simply required to stay in their vehicle, as the story goes The Independent.

A drive-in near Kuala Lumpur

In this country which lists around 95,000 cases of Covid-19 patients, bringing together so many guests is a feat. The ceremony took place in Putrajaya, south of Kuala Lumpur, and it was almost a wedding like any other. Guests lined up to congratulate the bride and groom, but remained locked in their vehicles.

They then moved to a tent where they collected delicacies and party drinks. Once again, you had to taste them in your car. After long hours of waiting, the couple finally made their appearance in the afternoon, waving to their guests.
