New riot in Ecuador jail leaves 58 inmates dead and 12 wounded

A new mutiny leaves 58 dead in a jail in the Ecuadorian port of Guayaquill the same one that in September was the scene of one of the worst prison massacres in Latin America with 119 deaths, reported on Saturday the commander of the Police, General Tannya Varela.

The officer reported in a press conference that the clashes between inmates also injured twelve inmates.
