Police save man trapped in burning vehicle from death [VIDEO]

Two policemen from USA They have been classified as heroes after they saved a man who was trapped in his car, which caught fire after hitting two houses and a tree.

The officers W. Adams y M. Todd responded to a car fire call early Sunday morning in the Bankhead section of Atlanta, and found the driver trapped in the front seat.

“He’s still there!” a witness pointed out as police officers ran toward the red vehicle engulfed in flames. “Someone take it out!”shouted another.

In the clip of the video, published by the Fox 5 Atlanta media, it is observed when the police tried to open the driver’s door without success because the handle was broken, so they had to break the window to take the man behind the wheel .

“Come on, come on sir!” yelled one of the officers as he held the driver, who appeared to be unconscious at one point.

Police said the car had “Gone through the air” and passed through two houses, including one that was occupied, before crashing into a tree and bursting into flames.

A statement from the police office stated that “The quick thinking and bravery displayed by Officer Adams and Officer Todd saved the occupant from a tragic denouement.”

“The officers had no idea if that fire could have led to an explosion that would put their lives in danger, but instead focused on saving the driver”, he indicated.

The clip shows the actions “Humble but heroic” of the police officers who “They never make the headlines” despite being part of his daily duties, department officials said.

“We could not be more proud of these two officers”Atlanta police said. “Your response to this incident exemplifies our highest ideals and training… The city is safer with these two heroes on patrol. Work well done!”.

Police did not release the name of the driver or say whether he will face any charges in the heartbreaking accident. He miraculously survived and had only minor injuries, Fox 5 reported.
