Chile Elections 2021: Ultra-rightist Kast promises order, security and freedom at the end of the campaign

“We are willing to give our lives if necessary, to give our lives for our beloved Chile. God and the homeland is what inspires us, ”said the ultra-conservative, who is a favorite in questioned polls along with the leftist and young deputy Gabriel Boric, from the alliance Approve Dignity-Broad Front and the Communist Party.

“I dare to vote for him, even though he has everything against him. They accuse him of being a neo-Nazi, a facade. Everyone has been against him, but I think he is the best. He is a good man, a good Chilean citizen, a good father and he is going to be a very good president, ”said Gabriel Salazar, a 65-year-old taxi driver.

On Sunday, almost 15 million Chileans are called to vote among seven candidates, in addition to renewing the entire Chamber of Deputies and half of the Senate, in which they are considered the most uncertain elections in 31 years of democracy.
