The Prefecture (government delegation) of the department of Var specified, in a statement, that two people extracted from the rubble of the three-story building, located in the center of this small coastal city, had to be treated by the emergency medical services .
Another three were unharmed, according to the Prefecture, which also indicated that nine people were evacuated from neighboring buildings.
According to local media, the dead man is a man, the father of a rescued baby with his mother, who had serious injuries.

A total of 97 people, including firefighters and health services, supported by eleven policemen, were involved in the operation after the collapse of the building for reasons that will have to be determined by the investigation.
