Russia: man breaks into Moscow municipal services office and kills two people

At least two people died today during the shooting that occurred in a Moscow municipal services office, according to Sergei Sobianin, mayor of the Russian capital.

“As a result of the shooting, two people died and three others were injured,” Sobianin said on his Twitter account.

According to sources cited by local media, the dead would be the office security guard and one of the operators.

The attacker, a 45-year-old man, has already been detained, he added. “Doctors do everything possible to attend to the injured,” he said.

According to preliminary sources, the assailant opened fire when the guard ordered him to leave the premises for refusing to wear a mask.
