The Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador He assured this Friday that entities that do not require the vaccination certificate against covid-19 before allowing the entry of people will be sanctioned.

The clarification was made one day after the mandatory vaccination against covid-19 in the Andean country.

“In the event of non-compliance with this provision in public or private spaces, the penalty will not fall on unvaccinated people, but on entities that provide public services and do not require a vaccination certificate”, the Ministry specified in a statement.

Those in charge of monitoring compliance with this measure, which seeks to protect the life of Ecuadorian families, are the Municipalities and Decentralized Autonomous Governments, within the framework of their powers.
