Who is called, “professional strainer”, he started three years ago and, according to a conversation he had with the newspaper ‘The Sun’, now he earns large sums a day.

The 31-year-old pointed out some of his jobs since he decided to stand in line for citizens who do not want to London.

  • The tragic end of the family that froze to death trying to reach the US from Canada
  • The 90 minutes in which the Nazis decided the “final solution to the Jewish question”

And although it seems like a pretty exhausting job, Beckitt he turned it into “a beautiful art by virtue of being a Londoner” and “resists the temptation to come to the front,” he told the aforementioned newspaper.

How much does Beckitt earn per day?

As specified in the interview, the man earns around 160 pounds sterling a day, that is, 214 dollars.

However, the amount can vary depending on how long the queue can get. Beckitt He said that on one occasion he was paid 20 pounds an hour, about 26 dollars.

Why do you make so much money standing in line?

In general, the people who hire him are around 70 years old. However, there are some exceptions like busy families.

On the other hand, your best profits are made when your queue is to get into a massive event or exhibition. One of these jobs was at an exhibition of the famous Christian Dior brand.

“I worked eight hours for a job queuing for the V&A Christian Dior show for some very well off people in their mid-sixties”, remembered Beckitt.

However, he got a great reward. because people asked him for other assignments.

”The actual queue was only three hours but they also asked me to collect their tickets and wait for them to arrive so I only had hours perusing the V&A museum and was paid £20 an hour which was great!”, he added.

So that day, he went on to earn his peak of 160 pounds ($214).

The man stressed that both in winter and summer he gets work. In winter, many people prefer to stay at home than stand in line, especially because of the temperatures, but summer is the best season because various events take place.

“I also line up for holiday and seasonal shopping, but big events that people know about beforehand, that’s usually when people think to book me to save time”, He said.

The disadvantages of the dream job

Freddie BeckittIn addition, he said that his work to a certain extent is of dream. It is true that he can earn large sums per day, but he himself assures that it would be very difficult to charge more money for this type of work.

“Unfortunately I don’t think you can charge more than £20 an hour and it doesn’t require any skill or even hard work.”

Most likely, in a short time you will have more competition than demand.

In addition, the man pointed out that it does not end up being as profitable because currently with the pandemic and virtual customer service, there are not many people who line up and it only takes a few hours.
