Price of the dollar today in Mexico: how much is the exchange rate this Tuesday, February 15

The exchange rate in Mexico it was operating lower this Tuesday due to the appreciation of the peso, amid a greater global appetite for risk after learning that some Russian troops close to Ukraine are returning to their bases, in what could point to the reduction of tensions between the two countries.

It fell 0.21% from Monday’s Reuters benchmark price.

“The Mexican peso remains in good spirits, with traders today celebrating Russia’s announcement of the start of the withdrawal of some of the troops concentrated near Ukraine” affirmed the local CI Banco in an analysis note.

Russia said on Tuesday that some of its military troops were returning to their bases after holding exercises near Ukraine, following days of warnings by the United States and Britain that Moscow could invade its neighbor at any time.
