The price of the US dollar in Colombia traded this Wednesday, amid greater aversion to risk assets amid the advance of the war in Ukraine and an increase in coronavirus cases in China, which offset a global decline in the dollar.

The price of the dollar in Colombia for this Tuesday, March 15, 2022 is 3,829 Colombian pesos, according to Reuters data.

In the previous day, most currencies and stock markets in Latin America closed with losses on Tuesday, as a result of a greater aversion to risk assets amid the advance of the war in Ukraine and an increase in coronavirus cases in China, which offset a global decline in the dollar.

Likewise, the attention of the markets was focused on the monetary policy meeting of the United States Federal Reserve, after which a cycle of increases in interest rates is expected to begin.

The dollar index, which compares the greenback to a basket of six major currencies, fell by around 0.1%.
