Dollar in Peru: What is the exchange rate today, Sunday, May 29

The exchange rate was quoted at S/ 3.693 per dollar at the close of the day, a rise of 0.9207% compared to the close of its previous session at S/ 3.659, according to data from the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCR).

Regionally, Latin American stock and currency markets were trading gains on Friday, extending the previous day’s trend and in line with Wall Street, amid weakness in the dollar and with the Colombian peso at a maximum of a month before the presidential elections.

According to the Reuters agency, the markets reacted to consumer data in the United States that softened concerns about economic growth and that gave signs that the worst in inflation was probably reached.
