The price of the US dollar in Peru opened higher on Monday, after the dismissal of the Minister of Health, Jorge López, and a global rise in the greenback, while investors looked for clues about a possible relaxation of the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy (fed).
The exchange rate operates at S/3.992 per dollar, an advance of 0.11% compared to Friday’s settlement at S/3.988, according to the Bloomberg agency.
So far this year, the greenback accumulates a decline of 0.08% compared to the last price of 2021, at S / 3,991.
At 9:45 am, in the parallel market or the main exchange houses, the dollar is bought at S / 3.98 and sold at S / 4,010, according to data from the portal cualestaeldolar.pe.
This Monday, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) approved the National Plan for Sustainable Infrastructure for Competitiveness (PNISC) 2022-2025, which includes 72 projects to be prioritized with a total investment of S/146,622.
The projects included in the PNISC will be executed through the modalities of Public Works (37 projects), Public Private Associations (26 projects) and Active Projects (9 projects).
