Lack of fuel: the Loire-Atlantique has been hit hard, the West and the South are in suspense

Against the background of strikes at oil refineries, many service stations across the country were affected. With 53.37% of stations running short of at least one fuel, Loire-Atlantique becomes the first department to be affected, according to public data analyzed by AFP. Other departments in the west are also heavily affected (Morbihan, Ile-et-Villaine, Mayenne, Maine-et-Loire, all over 40% stations in short supply) and the south also remains very affected (Bouches du Rhone, Aude above 40% , many other departments above 30%).

Every sixth gas station in the country

On the ninth day of the mobilization against the pension reform, 15.14% of gas stations in France were short of at least one of the fuels (gasoline and/or diesel) they were offering on Wednesday, March 1 at 9 am, based on data analysis. from the government fuel prices website. About 7.65% of the stations are dry.

There are 200 oil depots in France, and oil companies were hoping to avoid a gigantic deficit last October caused by a wage dispute at TotalEnergies and Esso. In the Loire-Atlantique, the Donges refinery stopped shipping fuel for many days.
