Dreux Intelcia makes recruiting easier with remote work

At Intelcia in Dreux (Eure et Loire), remote work has really made a difference. This Moroccan group, which employs a call center of about 600 people specializing in mutual insurance and mutual insurance, now offers its employees an a la carte organization that includes a good dose of remote work.

“For us, this has clearly become an argument in favor of being able to hire people, allowing people to better combine professional and personal lives,” explains director Rashid Meknawi, who insists on the need to stand out in a still tough job market. and in a sector with rapid turnover, with wages in line with the minimum wage.

For parents, single or not, there is, for example, the possibility of a three-day remote work, full or part-time. If you live far away, you can work four days out of five remotely. There is also a formula for students with 8- to 24-hour jobs and another for seniors in retraining with three days of full-time or part-time remote work.

To be even more compelling, the group, which employs 4,000 people in France at ten sites, has even benefited from the financial benefits that employees can get from working remotely, priced in-house. He conducted a survey of his employees and concluded that one day of remote work per week saves 800 euros per year in fuel and vehicle wear for those who drive to work, which is typical for 90% of employees in Dreux.

“We launched these formulas a few months ago, and I have the impression that they are convincing, because the recruitment seems to us less difficult than last year, we have more candidates,” the director adds.

Since the beginning of the year, 100 new employees have joined Intelcia in Dreux, and it is planned to hire 120 more people by the end of 2023.
