According to the issuing entity, the interbank exchange rate had an average value of S/3.6936, with a minimum of S/3.685 and a maximum of S/3.70.

What happened during the day?

Allisson Pérez, Foreign Exchange trader at Renta4 SAB, explained that during today’s session, the demand came from off-shores, while the offer came from corporations.

Thus, US$ 317 million was negotiated in the market at an average price of S/ 3.6932.

At a global level, the dollar appreciated due to the positive data in the United States regarding the PMI (Purchasing Manager Index) for services and sales of new homes. On the other hand, the markets are awaiting the declarations of the president of the Federal Reserve (FED), which will give some signal on monetary policy, said Renta4 SAB.
