Wall Street closed this Tuesday in the green and the Dow Jones Industrials, its main indicator, rose 0.85%, on a day when several technology companies made up for their relatively poor results in August.

At the end of operations on the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones rose to 34,853 points, while the selective S&P 500 rose 1.45%, to 4,498 integers.

The Nasdaq composite market index, which groups technology companies, grew 1.74%, to 13,944 units, after having started the day with slight losses.

The New York parquet began the day on mixed ground and was encouraged as companies such as Nvidia, Tesla or Apple were registering increases.

In addition, a Washington, DC appeals court’s decision to order the Securities and Exchange Commission to review the case of Grayscale, an investment firm that it prevented from creating a real bitcoin ETF (“spot ETF”), boosted the value of Bitcoin, which was growing by more than 7% at the close of the stock market.

Meanwhile, the new data on jobs available in July in the United States showed a reduction of 22.4% compared to the same month last year, which, according to CNBC, could have contributed to the good data in technology and riskier assets. by the apparent cooling of the US economy.

All sectors closed in green, led by communications (2.46%), non-essential goods (2.35%) and technology (2.11%).

Among the 30 Dow Jones listed companies, the largest gains were for Verizon (3.4%), Apple (2.18%), Nike (2.15%) and Intel (2.05%).

In other markets, Texas oil rose to $81.25 a barrel and at the close of the stock market, the 10-year bond fell to 4.116%, gold rose to $1,965.4 an ounce and the dollar lost against the euro , with a change of 1.0882.
