Austin SXSW festival: French companies shine in Texas

High-speed connections between Texas, at the pinnacle of American entrepreneurial momentum, and the pearls of French know-how. The South by Southwest (SXSW) innovation festival in Austin, which runs through March 16, is an opportunity for approximately sixty French Touch representatives to make their presence known in the state’s capital. For the second year in a row, a representative French delegation led by Bpifrance and its CEO Nicolas Dufourcq intends to lay the foundations for the future of the business.

The variety of areas explored by the Texas festival, less publicized than CES in Las Vegas but with just as much global influence, includes the casting of the French delegation, Chanel and LVMH (owner of Le Parisien – Today in France) to virtual reality startups, from Sézane for fashion to the National Film Center or even from Ubisoft to the independent label Because Music (Justice, Christine and the Queens…).
