Price of the dollar today in Mexico: how much is the exchange rate this Friday, January 21

The exchange rate fell on Friday in Mexico due to the appreciation of the peso, in the midst of a market attentive to the Federal Reserve (Fed) of the United States and its next monetary policy movements.

The exchange rate was trading at 20.4657 Mexican pesos per dollar, down 0.31% from Thursday’s Reuters reference price.

According to a survey among analysts prepared by Citibanamex, the market slightly improved its expectations for the Mexican peso and now expects it to close the year at 21.50 units from the 21.60 projected in the previous survey.
