Long before being selected to play Teresa Mendoza in “the queen of the south”, Kate of the Castle I was pursuing that role. When we made the first queen, Telemundo was a very ambitious company, but much smaller. The first season of ‘The Queen of the South’ is full of heart, it’s my favorite. Currently we see a more mature Teresa Mendoza, but above all more warrior”, he highlights.

He also recalled the most critical moments of the second season of the series that was broadcast in 2019 and that has just been re-released by the Telemundo Internacional network, as a prelude to the next premiere of the third part of “La Reina del Sur”.

Each chapter is like a separate movie. It’s got this whole vibe that’s like an action thriller. There are very nice scenes, like the kidnapping of my daughter, or when we fly in a helicopter and I come out shooting. It was incredible”, he manifests.
