Romance is hard and no one knows it more than Noa, a young woman frustrated by the quality of men she finds on dating apps. But her luck with her love seems to change when she meets Steve, a successful surgeon with whom she falls madly in love. However, behind his charming appearance he hides some dark desires… and appetites.

This is the premise of “Fresh”, a film directed by Mimi Cave and starring Daisy Edgar-Jones (“Normal People”) and Sebastian Stan (“The Falcon & the Winter Soldier”, “Yo, Tonya”) that opens this March 4 on the Star+ streaming service.

Completing the cast of the film are Jojo T. Gibbs (“Twenties”), Charlotte Le Bon (“Anthropoid”, “A Ten Meter Journey”), Andrea Bang (“Luce”), and Dayo Okeniyi (“Maximum Bet”, “The Splendid Present”).

The expert creative team includes director of photography Pawel Pogorzelski (“The Devil’s Legacy,” “Midsommar: Terror Waits For Night”), editor Martin Pensa (“Wild Soul,” “Dallas Buyers Club: Evicted”), production designer Jennifer Morden (“Riot Girls”) and composer Alex Somers (“Honey Boy,” “Captain Fantastic”).

“Fresh” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2022 and is one of the first films from Searchlight Pictures to be released on The Walt Disney Company’s global streaming services.
