Sam Raimi expressed his desire to direct ‘Spider-Man 4’: “I’m willing to do it”

After the great success that Spider-Man: No Way Home Thanks to the appearance of the Spiderverse on the big screen, now it began to speculate that the stories left by the interpreters of the arachnid hero could be resumed, especially the “Spider-Man 4″ project with Tobey Maguire.

In this regard, the film director sam raimi He talked about the possibility of returning to the franchise and said that he would be delighted to work on a fourth superhero film.

Although Raimi never ruled out returning to complete the saga that began 20 years ago, now that Maguire has put on the suit again and that the “Multiverse” is being explored, the filmmaker has expressed his desire to make another film.

“I didn’t think it was possible, but after jumping back into the multiverse I realized, just like Doctor Strange, that anything is possible now. So I’m fully up for it.”Raimi told MoviePilot.

So far it is unknown if the project will be consolidated; however, fans of the ‘spider hero’ are more than excited about the possibility of seeing Tobey Maguire in a solo story.

“I don’t really have a story or a plan. I don’t know if Marvel Studios would be interested in that at this point. I haven’t really pursued that, but it sounds beautiful.” the filmmaker previously told Fandango.
