A decade after “Gangnam style”, PSY released new album

PSYthe South Korean rapper who rose to world fame with the song “Gangnam style” (“The dance of the horse”), has just released his album “Psy 9th”, a decade after releasing his well-known song.

This new studio album has the collaboration of important K-Pop artists, including the launch single “That that”, which is co-produced by Suga, rapper of the BTS group.

The theme uses a Wild West setting and mixes electronic music and Latin rhythms, mentions the relief due to the end of the restrictions imposed by the pandemic and also has the humor and the massive dances that made PSY famous.

”It is an album that I have prepared for a long time (three years), with a lot of love”PSY told a press conference.

The 44-year-old artist, whose real name is Park Jae-sang, said that it was Suga who contacted him to propose collaborating on a song in which the BTS member – whose real name is Moon Yon-gi – I was already working.

“Psy 9th” has 12 songs and also features collaborations with K-Pop heavyweights like Sung Si-kyung, Heize, Crush, Tablo, and Hwasa from girl band Mamamoo.
