Raphael in Lima: Fans celebrate the arrival of the ‘divo de Linares’ in Peru

Dozens of fans received the Spanish singer raphael this December 8 after his arrival in Lima as part of his “6.0” tour, in which he celebrates his 60 years of professional career.

‘El divo de Linares’ will perform at the Peru Arena this Wednesday, May 11, in a long-awaited concert that marks his return to the country after a seven-year absence.

Raphael was surprised upon arrival at Jorge Chavez airport, where fans took photos with him and welcomed him. The musician also received a warm welcome at his hotel, where a detachment of the Club Raphaelista del Perú Toda una Vida-a group founded in his honor in 1968-presented him with a bouquet of roses, banners and decorative balloons. The excited fans also proceeded to sing along to several of his favorite songs.

Raphael has a long history with the country, beginning with his first visit at the dawn of his career in 1967. He received the best reception in 1972, a visit where he had an iconic presentation on the musical program “Cita en el 4″ where he invited the musician Roberto ‘Tito’ Chicoma to interpret “Balada de la trompeta”.

Tickets for Raphael’s new concert are still available on Teleticket through its physical modules, as well as its web version. Prices range between S/.212 and S/.700.
