They met on Instagram and are 24 years apart: they tell us their incredible love story

After a few weeks of exchanging affectionate messages on social networks and WhatsApp, the Peruvian artist and businesswoman fiorella rodriguez and the Spanish model Iván Micol met for the first time in the city of Madrid. Words were not needed in that romantic encounter. A big smile, followed by a tender hug and absolute silence were enough to perpetuate the moment.

“We met on Instagram. I was downloading photos when I saw her profile and decided to follow her, then I commented on her posts because I thought she was a very pretty girl, ”says the Spanish model. “When I saw her comments, I just thanked her because she was getting out of a relationship, but once I made my separation public we started talking more often.”, clarifies the actress.

The conversations were daily, cordial, revitalizing, addictive, and when these became insufficient, the then friends arranged a first face-to-face meeting.

“One day Iván asks me if I was planning to travel to Spain, and I answer affirmatively because I had a ticket to Madrid for a long time, I had to go on behalf of a mayor, I had to collect an award that they had given him for his work as a politician, ”he says. Rodriguez. “I am from Murcia, I am about five hours from Madrid, but to see her I was willing to travel the whole world”, adds Michael.

That first approach served to reaffirm that connection that began through cyberspace. During the ten days that Fiorella stayed in Madrid, the couple took the opportunity to go sightseeing in the city, get to know each other and enjoy themselves.

“It was very nice because everything was done with a lot of confidence. As soon as we saw each other, we smiled, we hugged, there was a desire to be together, it was super organic ”, details Fiorella. “Seeing that it was real, that it was the woman in the photos, that it really existed, left me speechless, I didn’t know what to say, I was silent.”, recalls Ivan.

“As soon as I saw him I knew that I had met an incredible person, I had never felt a similar connection before, with such complicity and trust”, adds the actress.

When the distance and the time difference between Peru and Spain (6 hours) threatened to be an inconvenience for the relationship, Iván Micol decided to leave everything in his native Murcia and move to Lima.

“I was very surprised by the decisions he made. To continue with this one of us had to take a risk, leave what he was doing to go to the other side of the world and I couldn’t do it.”, points out the popular ‘Amistasí’.

“VI traveled to Peru, in August, on vacation; but already being here I decided to let my flight pass and stay. It was hard to leave my family, my parents, but what drives me to do it is the love I feel for Fiorella, wherever she goes, I will go.”, says Michael. “The work was not a problem because I can do digital marketing with a computer from anywhere, the same thing happens with modeling, I am currently modeling with Richard Dulanto“, Add.

When they met, Fiorella, 48, believed that Iván was in base three. Something similar happened with the 24-year-old Spanish model. However, the difference of more than two decades has never been a problem for the couple, much less for the relationship.

“I don’t notice any difference and the people around me don’t notice it either, and not only because of the physical appearance but because of the communication we have, the way we are”, emphasizes the Spanish model. “He missed me, but I couldn’t lie to him because my date of birth is on Wikipedia (laughs), and I thought he was in base three because he speaks properly, he’s super educated, fine, handles different topics of conversation and we have very similar customs”, Rodríguez points out.

“We are homemakers, we seek tranquility more than noise, we like to have fun at home, watching a movie or talking”, explains Iván. “He is quite mature for his age and I am quite childish for mine, because I am always having fun, looking for laughter.”, adds Fiorella after clarifying that they made the relationship official two months ago.

Although they dream of being together forever, they prefer to enjoy this magical and passionate present without making long-term plans.

“SI feel like I want to be with her for the rest of my life, she gives me peace, joy, she is a goddess. When she walks she gives off a magical aura, everyone turns to see her”, emphasizes Ivan.

“I have lived a lot, I have had long relationships, I have been through a marriage and I can tell you that this is the happiest moment of my life, I never thought that a person could fill me so much. I am deeply in love with his way of being, his dealings, his gestures, he makes me feel very loved and valued; He is also very handsome, a doll, I love it, I think that if I ordered it through Amazon, it would not turn out like that (laughs)”, he stresses.
