Group 5: more than 35,000 fans attended the tribute of the founder Elmer Yaipén Uypan | VIDEO

The monsefuana food orchestra, Team 5paid a heartfelt tribute to its founder Elmer Yaipén Uypan commemorating the date of his unfortunate departure.

Andy, Elmer and Christian Yaipén invited, through social networks, all Grupo 5 followers to enjoy a totally free show in honor of their late father who founded Grupo 5 almost 50 years ago in his native Monsefú.

The place chosen for this event was the Monsefú ranch, one of the venues where the cumbia group was born and where they decided, as every year, to pay homage to the founder with a quality and totally free show.

For this reason, fans arrived early in the morning to queue and have preferential places in the front and thus be able to enjoy the talent and music of Grupo 5 up close.

Through social networks, Grupo 5 thanked the more than 35,000 followers of the orchestra who gathered at La Estancia de Monsefú to pay tribute to the creator of great musical hits that have endured until now and with whom several generations have danced.

“Our immense gratitude to the more than 35,000 people who came to remember and enjoy the songs of the northern cumbia pharaoh “ELMER YAIPÉN UYPAN”. THEY SANG EVERYTHING! ELMER LIVES 2022 #Group5 #ElmerLives”they wrote through the official social networks of Grupo 5, where they showed images of the full house they achieved.

It was even commented that the queues reached the emblematic Arch of Friendship that is located at the entrance of Monsefú. A video also shows the large number of people who waited several hours before the show started and even before the doors opened in order to get a space in the music venue.
