Bizarrap in Peru: the urban artist confirms a concert in Lima in 2023

You take off his sunglasses and he looks like he’s just coming of age. But Gonzalo Julián Conde, 24, seems to have turned those glasses, and his classic hat, into an identity sign. He’s bizarre, the producer of the moment. A sort of Argentine King Midas who has managed to catapult the urban genre to levels that were not known to him.

His work with synthesizers, drum machines and samplers began as an autodidact when he was barely 19 years old and was playing with ‘freestyle’ pieces. Then he gave way to collaborations with musicians and his famous BZRP Music Sessions emerged: sessions in which he puts an artist to show their talent while he appears in the background, glued to the laptop, doing magic to give shape to what in a few hours it usually reaches millions of views and listens.

He spent recently with his compatriot Duki and with the Spanish Quevedo, two huge successes. And he also went before with a long list that includes Nathy Peluso, Residente, Tiago PZK, Nicki Nicole, Trueno, Nicky Jam, etc. If those names are not familiar to you, the problem is neither with the artists nor with Bizarrap; maybe the problem is yours. Because they are the ones who are giving the hour in the Latin American music of our times.

It is for this reason that Biza, as they are also known, can score a number 1 on Spotify and play at a huge festival like Lollapalooza. Always with a low profile, even shy, but that has led him to revolutionize the figure of the music producer. And it is this outstanding phenomenon that will bring him to Peru for the first time, in a show that he promises.

LIVE SESSION

The appointment will be on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at the Lima Cultural Club, in Chorrillos. Bizarrap’s presentation will be part of a festival with other international and local artists to be confirmed. “We decided to bring him in because he is one of the best in the world in his genre and because he is at his best. The world of music continues to innovate every day and this is no exception. Bizarrap and other artists reflect the good musical moment that the Latino side of the world is experiencing, turning it into a global trend,” businessman Ramón Larrea, who will bring the Argentine to our country, told El Comercio.

Tickets for the show, which is projected for some 25,000 people, can be purchased from this Tuesday, December 6 in a special pre-sale (for Interbank customers). A few days later the general sale will begin. The entire process will be carried out through the Joinnus platform, which has prepared a special process to avoid any type of ticket resale or duplication problem.

As the director of the ticket office, Domingo Seminario, explained to this newspaper, for this concert the same mechanism that, by law, is used for sports events will be used: that of nominal tickets, in which the name of the attendee must coincide with your ID. These data can only be changed once to ensure greater security. And to ensure that the party is celebrated in peace. So there’s no excuse to miss it.
