Bizarrap in Lima: the collaborations that went viral | PHOTOS

Peruvians will be able to enjoy their creations live. The Argentinian Producer bizarre (24) will offer a concert in Lima on April 29, 2023. The artist has become quite a personality within the music industry thanks to his BZRP Music Sessions, where he has managed to have artists such as Residente, Paulo Londra, Nathy Peluso , Duki and Nicky Jam, among others.

With more than 15.6 million followers on Instagram, Gonzalo Julián Conde –real name of BZRP- has positioned himself as one of the most successful producers on digital platforms. He was born on August 29, 1998 in the city of Ramos Mejía, Buenos Aires (Argentina).

The undeniable talent of the Argentine is evident in the millions of reproductions that his songs get on platforms like Spotify. Therefore, here we review some of the Bizarrap collaborations that have gone viral.

Quevedo

BZRP Music Sessions #52

In short, one of the favorite songs of his public. After making a very particular promotional video next to Burger King, Bizarrap finally announced that his guest would be the Spanish singer Quevedo.

On the day of its debut, on July 6, “BZRP Music Sessions #52″ surpassed 46 million streams on Spotify and topped the Top 50 Global chart, displacing “Running Up That Hill”. by Kate Bush for “Stranger Things”. “#1 IN THE WORLD ON SPOTIFY. Quevedo, thank you brother for being part of this. I can’t believe it, hold on Argentina. LPM Thank you,” BZRP wrote on Instagram.

In addition, it became the song with the most accumulated reproductions in a single day on Spotify Spain; with just over 2.5 million. In this way, he took away the record that until then had “Tú Me Dejaste de Querer” by C.Tangana (1.6 million).

During an interview with “La Resistencia”, the canary confessed that -during the recording sessions- he thought of eliminating one of the phrases that would become the most remembered by the public after its premiere: “Stay / that the nights without you hurt …”. “I wasn’t very smart there (…) In the end we left it because Bizarrap told me it was the best part,” the canary confessed.

duki

BZRP Music Sessions #50

Bizarrap’s most recent release was alongside fellow countryman rapper Duki. The 50th session premiered last November 16 amid the great expectation of his followers who, after trying to guess the star guest, discovered with joy that Duki was returning to the producer’s studio.

The success of the song was evidenced by the fact that it soon reached one million views on YouTube; in half an hour, it exceeded two million views. In just over a week since its premiere, this collaboration has more than 31 million views on the YouTube platform.

The Dale Play Records label, which includes both artists, indicated that this collaboration was worked on for more than a year and is the result of a promise made during the last Copa América that their country won. “Bizarrap and Duki announced during their first show at the Vélez stadium, in Buenos Aires, Argentina before 45,000 people, that the ‘session’ would start before the start of the World Cup,” the statement said.

Although, for Bizarrap and Duki the recording of this session was complicated because they knew that the public would have high expectations and they hoped to fulfill them. And, apparently, they did so; because even prominent artists in the industry like Bad Bunny praised the work done by the Argentines.

Tiago PZK

BZRP Music Sessions #48

Before the end of 2021, Bizarrap amazed his followers by premiering his new ‘session’ alongside Tiago PZK. Although, this decision to release the single was brought forward because someone leaked the content on the internet. But this did not prevent it from being successful on the platforms. “So it leaked?? Well, it’s out today then. Happy end of the year”, Bizarrap wrote on his social networks after publishing the video clip.

The song, popularly known as “Bombona”, got around half a million views on YouTube in its first 15 minutes of uploading. Meanwhile, after its first 24 hours, the single debuted at number 19 on Spotify’s Global Top 50. Furthermore, with this release, the Argentine producer positioned himself as one of the most listened to artists in Spain.

“We spent a whole session of Bizarrap saying ‘Che, no bombona. What can we put on it?’ We invent things to put there instead of saying ‘hottie’; and, after all, the word ‘hottie’ was what went viral. It was crazy”, Tiago PZK confessed to El Mundo.

Resident

BZRP Music Sessions #49

“I do this to have fun.” If there is one of Bizarrap’s productions that has caused controversy, it is definitely his collaboration with Puerto Rican René Pérez Joglar, better known as Residente. The so-called ‘tiradera’ towards J Balvin premiered on March 3 of this year and quickly became viral.

The “BZRP Music Sessions #49″ surpassed, in less than a day, 17 million views on YouTube; which means more than 700 thousand reproductions per hour. In the single, Residente raps for almost 9 minutes and his victim is nothing more and nothing less than his industry partner: Colombian J Balvin. “We are different, because of the music I put my heart in front,” says the Puerto Rican.

In this song, Residente was in charge of responding to J Balvin for controversial issues related to the music industry. But if you thought that would end there, you are wrong. After the premiere of the ‘session’ they continued with the ‘tiraderas’ on social networks. A confrontation that could flare up at any moment.

paulo londra

BZRP Music Sessions #23

The public acclaimed him and Bizarrap fulfilled their dream. In April of this year, the “BZRP Music Sessions #23″ with Paulo Londra was published. After spending several months without being able to publish music due to a trial, the Argentine returned with a bang next to his compatriot.

Along with an innovative strategy, both published a photo together and asked their followers for 23 million comments to publish the topic they had together. The goal was achieved in less than a day and they had to keep their word. “I can’t believe it, I didn’t think we were going to make it so fast. They are amazing,” Bizarrap wrote.

“I don’t understand why you call if nobody called before / I don’t understand why you come if nobody came before”, intones the man born in Córdoba during the first verses of the song; which is accompanied by electronic trap. So far, the video posted on YouTube accumulates more than 113 million views.

Nathy Fluffy

BZRP Music Sessions #36

Social networks seem to have become the new platforms to make a topic go viral. That happened with “BZRP Music Sessions #36″ that Bizarrap released alongside Argentine rapper Nathy Peluso.

You’ve probably heard the phrase “I’m a nasty girl, fantastic” that comes precisely from this collaboration between the Argentines. Premiered on November 27, 2021, the clip published on YouTube accumulates -so far- more than 346 million views. While on Tik Tok, the original audio has been used in 539,000 videos.

Meanwhile, the song has managed to sell more than 40,000 copies in Spain, for which both artists received a Platinum Record.

cazzu

BZRP Music Sessions #32

Another presumed ‘tiradera’ that had the help of Bizarrap. This ‘session’ released on August 5, 2020 had the Argentine rapper Cazzu as its protagonist. Until the closing of this note, it has accumulated more than 138 million views on YouTube.

But, if there is something that stood out about this topic, it was the hints. Between the lines, Cazzu would have answered the CRO trapper, with whom she had a sentimental relationship for a few months. “That my ex asks about me all day, that’s what they told me”, raps the artist in “BZRP Music Sessions #32″.

Nicki Nicole

BZRP Music Sessions #13:

Argentine Nicki Nicole has already accumulated 172 million views.

Nicki Nicole has become one of the Argentine rappers with the greatest international projection. Her session with Bizarrap where she shows her most melodic facet already exceeds 140 million views.

nicky jam

BZRP Music Sessions #41

They made history. Bizarrap always seeks to surprise the guests at his ‘sessions’, and, in June 2021, he thrilled his fans by collaborating with the Colombian Nicky Jam. This would be the first time – and the only one so far – in which he would collaborate with an Argentine.

The rhymes and phrases in English add rhythm to this song, which was reflected in the more than 8 million views on YouTube just hours after its premiere. In the song, the Colombian also talks about topics such as his success in the urban genre and also leaves some advice to his young fans.

L-Ghent

BZRP Music Sessions #38

Rap and cumbia united in a single theme. On March 10 of last year, Bizarrap released their “BZRP Music Sessions #38″ together with L-Gante and obtained as a result –as accumulated to this day- more than 299 million views on the clip posted on YouTube. The first 100 million arrived just two months after the premiere.

“L-Gante’s urban style crosses cumbia, reggaeton and marijuana. It runs through a rhythm that incorporates the bombast of electronic music and an addictive sound effect that could be obtained from the soundtrack of a Hans Zimmer film ”, refers the description of Session #38. In addition, this single reached first place on the Billboard Argentina charts.
