Gil Grissom is not at the best! William Petersen, who plays the head of the Las Vegas forensic science in The experts, was hospitalized over the weekend for exhaustion.
“He wasn’t feeling well on Friday. He’s exhausted from the long hours on set for the past 12 weeks and has been taken to hospital as a precaution, ”his spokesperson told ET. The actor has since been cleared out and is “in good health”.
William Petersen reprized his iconic role for the sequel Experts : Las Vegas, whose return was announced in March. The series ended in 2015, after 15 seasons and 355 episodes. The actor had said goodbye at the end of season 9 leaving his place as head of the scientific and technical team to Laurence Fishburne. The latter had left at the end of the 11th season and Ted Danson had taken up the torch until the end.
The interpreter of Gil Grissom is not the only one to find his character for this sequel. Jorja Fox or Wallace Langham are back in service to support “a new team of investigators” according to the official synopsis. The first episode of this sequel Experts : Las Vegas will air on October 6 in the United States.
