Malos Amigos: Peruvian band will present their second album

After releasing their first album in August 2022, Malos Amigos published their second major project on December 9 on all digital platforms, which was produced in a marathon week in the Argentine capital.

The location of the recording is not a coincidence. Well, the main inspiration of the band comes from the great references of Argentine rock; such as Charly García, Fito Páez, Gustavo Cerati and Luis Alberto Spinetta, making their influences manifest in this new project. In addition, the band maintains the elements that its early fans loved, such as the ever-present vocal harmonies, progressive rock-inspired arrangements, and, above all, the desire to convey the laughter and chemistry that exists among its five members.

However, this new album incorporates the experiences lived by the band in recent years, such as the pandemic and the fear of growing up. Both, realities that they did not know when they started this project, with just 19 years.

This is evidenced in phrases like “She is like going back to 2019″, “There are only crazy people left around here” or “Fall away or pay attention to reason”. Another topic that characterizes the album and represents a novelty in the group is heartbreak. Additionally, “Mojar” and “Tu nombre” are two powerful ballads that talk about fulfillment and the nostalgia that comes from getting over a breakup.
