Daft Punk announce reissue of ‘Random Access Memories’

Random Access Memories, critically acclaimed from daft punk, will be reissued in 2023 on the tenth anniversary of the project, they announced on Twitter on Wednesday, February 22. The new Random Access Memories, winner of the grammy album of the Year 2014, includes 35 minutes of bonus footage from nine songs, including demos and previous studio releases.

Fans can choose between two versions of the project: a double CD or a vinyl LP. The CD set will include a 20-page digital booklet, while the vinyl set will include the Lose Yourself to Dance poster and 16 pages. Songs on the album include “Get Lucky” (2014 Grammy winner) and “Loose Yourself to Dance” by Pharrell Williamsand “Instant Crush” by Julian casablancas by The Strokes, “Doin’ It Right” and “Give Life Back to Music”.

Released in May 2013, Random Access Memories spent a total of 54 weeks on the Billboard 200, including two weeks at No. 1. The title track “Lucky” held the top spot on the Billboard 100 for 5 consecutive weeks.
