The match for the league 1 between binational and Sporting Cristal, scheduled for this Friday, February 24, will not be played. This was announced by the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) through a statement published on social networks.
“On February 22 of the present, Club Binacional FC sent a letter to the FPF in which, in addition to expressing a series of inaccurate and offensive statements, it informed its intention to transgress the FPF regulations and not allow the transmission against Sporting Cristal”, the document begins.
“In this sense, in accordance with current regulations, the decision was made to reschedule this match for Date 6 (…) The new date and time of the match will be communicated in the coming days,” says the FPF.
“The FPF will not recognize the agreements or negotiations that have been carried out after the change of statutes, in October 2019,” he concludes.
