Luces Awards: Tori’s chicken shop is chosen the Best New Restaurant of 2022

The readers of “El Comercio” chose Tori’s chicken shop as the Best New Restaurant of 2022 at the Luces Awards. The concept created by chef Mitsuharu Tsumura and his partners César Choy and Marjorie Flores, began as a ‘dark kitchen’ and later opened a location in Miraflores that is already one of the busiest places to try this Peruvian dish.

For her part, Tori’s chef Cecila Márquez highlighted that many dishes are presented in the chicken shop using grilled chicken. “We have chicken chaufa, chicken sandwiches and if you look at our Instagram you can find several recipes that we teach using grilled chicken.”

In the Best New Restaurant 2022 category of the Luces Awards, Alado, Anima e Cuore, Casa Rebara, Cumpa Taberna Criolla, Le Coq, La Capitana, PFW Lima, Ribeyro, Sastrería Martínez and Tori competed.
