Dua Lipa confirmed her participation in “Barbie the movie”

After months of rumours, Dua Lipa confirmed that he will be in the live action movie “Barbie the movie”, where he will share roles with the leads Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. The person in charge of making the news known was the same British artist through her social networks.

Through her social networks, the interpreter of “Future Nostalgia” shared a photograph of herself in the skin of her new character: Mermaid Barbie. In this poster, the artist appears with completely blue hair and a wardrobe according to her look.

Dua Lipa is not the only artist who joins the cast of “Barbie the movie”. In addition to Robbie and Gosling, the cast includes Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, America Ferrera, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, Michael Cera, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Nicola Coughlan, and Emerald Fennell, among others.

It is worth mentioning that the film, directed by Greta Gerwig (third film as director after the acclaimed “Lady Bird” and “Little Women”), and co-written with Noah Baumbach, will hit theaters on July 21, 2023.
